From $16.00 per hour Job description: Maintenance Technician - Hampton Inn by HiltonOverview The Hampton Inn by Hilton is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain the overall condition, appearance, and functionality of our hotel. This position is responsible for completing preventative maintenance, responding to guest service requests, and ensuring all hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining Hilton brand standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of creating a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members. Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the hotel property Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues professionally Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment Complete painting, drywall, minor carpentry, and general repair work as needed Maintain pool, exterior grounds, and common areas to company standards Ensure compliance with safety procedures and hotel maintenance standards Assist with room renovations and property improvement projects Maintain organized maintenance storage and proper inventory levels Work closely with housekeeping and front desk teams to address operational needs quickly Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems required Hilton experience is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Must be dependable with strong attendance and professionalism Weekends, holidays, and flexible availability may be required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Hilton employee travel discounts Supportive work environment Opportunity for advancement within Hilton brands Paid training If you are hands-on, dependable, and take pride in keeping facilities operating at their best, we encourage you to apply and join our hospitality team.
