MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Will PM, inspect, repair, assemble and install various types of equipment Repair electrical beds Inspect/repair vertical/horizontal transportation Repair pneumatic tube system Must be able to recognize and correct conditions which require maintenance work such as conveyors, laundry, and dietary equipment P M various types of equipment (exhaust fans, laundry equipment, dietary equipment, battery emergency lights, etc.) Diagnose problems and order materials/parts for repairs to equipment Willing to help and assist other mechanics/trades as necessary Move materials upon request from all departments Must be accessible for emergency maintenance calls. Shall observe safety rules and regulations at all times. Other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

High School diploma /GED or work experience equivalent Hospital/Commercial experience preferred Skill in the use of hand and power tools used in installations, repair and maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds Five or more years of experience preferred Chippenham Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
