Job Description
Millwald Theatre is seeking an individual to maintain a safe and clean environment. Duties & Responsibilities Perform custodial, maintenance, and routine cleaning of the theatre and building including cleaning of restrooms Receive inventory orders and stock supply room Report safety and maintenance concerns with the Operations Director Must be flexible with work hours to potentially include nights and weekends during events. Change Marquee messaging when applicable Ordinary maintenance when needed including but not limited to changing light bulbs, painting, and touch ups Set-up non-technical event needs such as tables and chairs for events as needed. Interact well and communicate clearly with diverse groups and individuals such as the immediate supervisor, co-workers, patrons, and the public Other duties and projects as assigned Education and Experience Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by previous customer service experience, OR An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities Physical Requirements Tasks require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Involves some climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling physical effort.
