Job Description

Maintenance Team Member - All-Girls Summer Camp (Vermont) Join our team for a rewarding summer in beautiful Vermont! We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to support the daily operations and upkeep of our all-girls summer camp. This position plays an essential role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for campers and staff throughout the summer season.

Residential girls camp in Vermont Housing & meals provided Competitive summer stipend Time off built into schedule Supportive leadership team and returning staff culture About the Role Our Maintenance Team is responsible for maintaining camp facilities, grounds, equipment, and general infrastructure. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable working outdoors, and enjoys being part of a collaborative camp community.
You will:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across camp buildings and grounds Maintain cleanliness and safety of cabins, activity areas, dining facilities, and common spaces Operate and maintain lawn equipment, tools, and camp vehicles Support setup and breakdown for camp activities and special events Follow all camp safety procedures and protocols
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Previous maintenance, facilities, landscaping, construction, or handyman experience preferred Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to assist where needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods Comfortable performing physically active tasks daily This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, outdoor living, and contributing to a positive camp environment while spending the summer in Vermont.
