Job Description

Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for a Custodian/Maintenance Worker position in Chehalis, WA. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 7:00am and 8:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $17

Job Details:

BNW is looking for a custodian/maintenance worker to join our team in the Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for the general cleaning of all areas throughout the plant. This position specifically provides cleaning within the Braun Northwest facility to include; Restrooms
  • checking and replacing paper products, cleaning sinks, urinals, toilets and mop floors; Lunchroom
  • sweeping floor, cleaning sinks, replacing paper products, wipe down tables with disinfectant cleaner; Public Areas in shop
  • sweeping and dusting as needed, cleaning drinking fountains with disinfectant, and emptying wire recycling bins.
In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must have the: ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, and on occasion crawl into tight areas in order to complete cleaning and maintenance tasks. ability to move objects which could exceed 50 lbs. ability to pull and push to complete cleaning, for example, sweeping, vacuuming and maneuvering of heavy floor cleaning machines. ability to perform general maintenance duties specific to each area's needs.
