43 per hr. (depending on experience) Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District (District) is recruiting for multiple full-time seasonal utility worker positions. Under the direction of the department supervisor, this position performs various manual labor tasks, assisting with the routine maintenance of District-owned facilities, grounds, and vehicles, as well as any other assigned tasks. This position uses a variety of hand-powered tools and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of key duties and responsibilities for this position. Performs general maintenance of District Facilities and grounds, including mowing, weeding, pressure washing, painting, janitorial work, scrubbing, basic carpentry and mechanical repairs, and other duties as assigned. Operate small power tools necessary to maintain water and wastewater systems. Maintain a safe work environment, including utilizing appropriate safety devices and equipment. Other related duties as assigned.
Work environment:
Duties are primarily performed outdoors, requiring physical effort to perform manual labor. Lifting more than 50 pounds is required.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a valid Washington State driver's license and a safe driving record. Driving record abstracts are required before the first day of employment.
