//wecan.waspa.org/Vacancy/258375 The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District is seeking an individual for a Maintenance position at their secondary buildings.. This is a full-time, position and the hours vary.
Primary Purpose:
Maintain building appearance, coordinate set up and tear down of daily activities in the building, perform routine maintenance on heating, electrical, and ventilation systems as directed by the Maintenance Manager, perform as well as communicate and direct the cleaning needs of the building to light housekeeping and custodial staff, ensure light housekeeping and custodial staff are aware of the proper and safe cleaning procedures, ensure district resources are being used and maintained efficiently, schedule building alarms, and assist in the closure and security of the building as directed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Regular and Reliable Attendance Assemble and install shelving, classroom furniture and other materials as needed Plan and schedule preventative maintenance on district equipment as needed Organize staff schedules and duties to ensure efficient use of time and completion of tasks or projects Supervise, evaluate and discipline (as necessary while working in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager, Director of Buildings & Grounds and Human Resources) custodial and light housekeeping staff Manage materials and supplies and ensure items are in stock as needed Clean building including but not limited to, vacuuming, lunch time set up and tear down, removal of garbage, ensuring exterior and interior entrances are free of snow, sand, water and debris Manage staff requests and ensure efficient use of district resources to complete requests in a timely fashion Floor care i.e. stripping waxing etc… Perform routine maintenance of filters, lubrication, ballasts, light fixtures and various machines Assist in unloading of food supplies Operate, and repair equipment as needed i.e. floor scrubbers, snow blowers, and other district equipment Communicate maintenance and special building needs to Maintenance Manager as needed Other duties as assigned
