Job Description

Are you ready to take charge of property maintenance and ensure seamless operations for tenants, owners and vendors?! We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Property Management Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you will be the go-to person for maintenance projects, coordinating technician schedules, working with vendors on maintenance issues and ensuring excellent communication among all parties involved.
Your responsibilities will include:
Efficiently assess and prioritize maintenance items based on our established rules and guidelines. Coordinate and schedule the appropriate technician for each maintenance job, considering their expertise and availability. Contact vendors and external service provides as needed to obtain quotes, schedule appointments, or arrange assistance. Follow up with scheduled maintenance requests to ensure tenants are informed of any delays or rescheduled appointments. Maintain clear and concise communication with all Property Owners, providing updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries related to maintenance requests. Pro-actively get involved in high priority, time sensitive, or escalated maintenance items. Ensure that technicians complete their paperwork and thoroughly document work orders for accurate record keeping. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in property management or a similar role is highly desirable. Previous experience in coordinating/scheduling Must have excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft excel. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals and provide exceptional customer service. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and completeness in maintaining records and documentation. Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including maintenance management software and communication tools. Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a timely manner. High level of dependability and accountability, taking ownership of assigned tasks and following through to completion. This is a permanent, salaried, full time position providing benefits.
