Service Technician About St. Croix Dock St. Croix Dock is a trusted local company specializing in the installation, removal, and repair of docks and boat lifts. Located in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, we serve lakefront homeowners and cabin owners across the surrounding area. We take pride in dependable service, skilled workmanship, and the strong relationships we build with our customers. We are looking to add a motivated Service Technician to our team. Position Overview The Service Technician, in the summer, plays a hands-on role in the installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of docks, boat lifts, and other related marine equipment. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys the outdoor and physical work. Success in this role requires mechanical ability, strong communication and organizational skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to work well with others. In the fall and winter, facilities maintenance is the focus. Lawn maintenance, building maintenance, equipment and vehicles. You will also have the chance, if interested, in learning about outboard service and maintenance. We will train and provide additional training to build your career in the marine business Primary Responsibilities Help install, remove, and service docks and boat lifts at customer locations. Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs on docks, lifts, and related equipment. Assist with maintaining company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment so they are ready for daily use. Support general property upkeep, including mowing, snow removal, and small repair projects. Load, transport, and organize materials and equipment for different job sites in a safe and efficient manner. Work closely with fellow technicians to complete jobs on schedule and meet quality expectations. Follow company safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers on-site. Qualifications Experience with docks, boat lifts, construction, landscaping, or similar outdoor labor is helpful, but not required. Good mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment. Ability to handle physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions, including lifting and moving heavy materials. Reliable, hardworking, and able to contribute positively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality work. Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
