Job Description

Job Summary Join our Indian Shores Resort team as a Campground Maintenance Employee, where your hands-on skills and passion for outdoor environments will help create a welcoming and well-maintained space for visitors. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the campground by performing landscape maintenance, operating power tools, and performing routine maintenance. This is a seasonal position. Rate of pay is dependent on experience and skillset. Responsibilities Maintain campground grounds through landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and horticulture practices to ensure a pristine environment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as trimming, mowing, planting, and general upkeep. Conduct routine inspections of pathways, facilities, and recreational areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs to fencing, picnic areas, restrooms, and other infrastructure. Assist with seasonal planting, mulching, and other landscaping projects to enhance visual appeal. Collaborate with team members to prioritize daily tasks and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the campground. Routine maintenance on vehicles and marina rental fleet including maintaining maintenance logs and checklists. Work closely with Facilities Manager to ensure all equipment is properly serviced and up to safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in mechanical and welding work is highly preferred. Ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools including trimmers and blowers safely. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining campground aesthetics and safety standards. Reliability and transportation.

From $17.00 per hour
