Facility Maintenance Helper

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with the upkeep and repair of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. As the facility is managed primarily by our team remotely, your role is to be our boots on the ground, addressing tasks that cannot be done from afar. Responsibilities Managing and maintaining the storage unit inventory. Overlocking units with overdue payments. Photographing unit contents for auction purposes. Cleaning out and securing units between tenants. Occasionally contacting customers to discuss rental status or resolve issues. Occasionally meeting with customers to settle matters not resolved by the remote team via phone or email. Supervising subcontractor work. Reporting any potential security issues or suspicious activities. Enforcing facility rules and regulations consistently. Helping with marketing efforts when needed. Keeping the facility clean (e.g. picking up trash, blowing driveways) in between our scheduled bi-weekly landscaping maintenance. Performing minor repairs and maintenance (e.g. using power tools to cut locks, tighten springs, replace latches, etc). Requirements No previous experience is necessary, but candidates should be at ease with the stated tasks and open to additional duties as needed by the facility. Work assignments are delivered through the Click-Up app, with progress tracked via photo submissions within the app. Time tracking is managed through Hubstaff. Therefore, familiarity with smartphone usage is essential. The role offers considerable flexibility, allowing most tasks to be completed on a self-determined schedule, provided they are finished within the general designated timeframe. This is a contract position (1099), with bi-monthly payments.

Pay:

This position allows the site manager to largely set their own schedule. That said, candidates with broader general availability tend to thrive in this role, as it allows for greater coverage and responsiveness. How would you describe your overall weekly availability?
