About the Role The PRM Maintenance Manager oversees all facility and equipment maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This position leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, maintenance planning, inventory control, and regulatory compliance while developing maintenance systems and training programs that support long-term operational success. Key Responsibilities Lead all maintenance operations, including equipment, utilities, refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, and facility systems. Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, work orders, SOPs, and maintenance planning. Develop department budgets, monitor KPIs, and improve equipment reliability. Oversee capital projects, equipment installation, and facility improvements. Manage maintenance inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, environmental, food safety, sanitation, and company requirements. Serve on the plant HACCP Team. Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, inventory, and performance reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Core Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Maintenance Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience. Four (4) years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or a related environment. Two (2) years of budget management experience. OSHA General Industry 30-Hour Certification preferred. Experience in beef slaughter and processing preferred. Knowledge of Freon refrigeration systems, boilers, PLCs, and wastewater operations preferred. Ability to work flexible or irregular hours as needed. Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Ability to successfully complete required criminal and character background checks. Ability to travel for training and professional development. Essential Competencies Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and processing operations. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, including LOTO and
NFPA 70E.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance-related software. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, adaptability, confidentiality, and respect for diverse backgrounds while serving as a positive representative of the Poarch Creek Indians.
