  • Full-time Summary Under general supervision of the Facilities Manager, perform general maintenance tasks on equipment in the plant to ensure safe and proper operations daily. Full time / 12 month Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager
  • Following the budget guideline for the faculties department.
  • Scheduling and directing the maintenance and custodial staff.
  • Oversee groundskeeping and curb appeal — pressure washing, debris removal, and more.
  • Creating and directing a preventative maintenance program with the ultimate goal of attaining a zero-downtime environment.
  • Maintaining adequate and organized parts inventory and sourcing the best overall pricing of the necessary parts and supplies.
  • Ordering any needed parts for the facilities
  • Obtain approval from the Facilities Manager for orders over $500.
  • Maintenance staff recruiting and training in all aspects of maintenance.
  • Obtaining/maintaining all licenses and permits associated with pressure vessels, backflow preventers, wastewater discharge permits, and state-required guidelines related to piping and equipment as needed.
  • Managing the custodial function and staff. Ensure appropriate supplies are available at all times to clean the Campus daily.
  • On-time startup of the facility.
  • Evaluations, recommendations, and guiding the maintenance staff to ensure continued career development.
  • Following all school growth programs annually.
  • Participate in safety meetings with the entire staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards and SPM procedures. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • At least 5 years of property maintenance experience (supervisory or lead tech experience a plus)
  • Must possess strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulics, and Natural Gas Combustion.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, interpersonal and listening skills, and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations and excellent people skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and interrupt technical manuals.
  • Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems. Benefits
