POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience 10 years' experience as a HVAC maintenance worker in an institutional or industrial setting with chilled water, heating water and steam system experience. Required Registration/License/Certification Certification or License in HVAC fields (not needed with bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering) Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred Experience 5 years' experience of maintenance management or as engineer in a health care environment preferred. Preferred Registration/License/Certification N/A Other Requirements Critical Thinking and problem solving Able to build strategic relationships Able to analyze, organize and delegate Numerical ability is required to prepare and analyze estimates for new construction, repairs, and maintenance Spatial perception is required to read and understand blueprints and specifications of new construction, installation and maintenance of equipment.
