Maintenance Director Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Director to join our Nursing Home team in Saraland, AL. As a Maintenance Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art long-term care facility. Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and appliances Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime Respond to resident and staff requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner Ensure all maintenance areas are clean, organized, and meet safety and regulatory standards Participate in safety inspections and provide recommendations for improvement Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance efforts
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 0 years of experience in maintenance or related field (entry-level candidates welcome!) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Basic knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance Excellent communication and customer service skills
