Greens at Tuscaloosa - Maintenance Director Lindsey Management Co., Inc - 2.9 Tuscaloosa, AL Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Live-in employment Driver's License Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at the beautiful Greens at Tuscaloosa Apartments ! The Maintenance Director oversees all maintenance of the Apartment units and Office Clubhouse. Being reliable with attention to detail is the first step to becoming a Maintenance Director. The intention is to ensure the company facilities are maintained and sufficient to support the company's business operations. Responsibilities:
Assigning Tasks, creating processes for assigning, completing and reporting on maintenance requests. Hiring and training new employees. Inspecting systems such as plumbing, heating and HVAC systems. Ensure health and safety policies are complaint. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Perform any special projects assigned by the Community Director Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, quality control, safety and compliance. Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status of maintenance projects Inspect building for signs of structural damage or other issues that could be a safety violation. Coordinate with contractors to take preventative maintenance updates. All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience with maintenance repairs or management. Knowledge of facilities machines and equipment Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems. Outstanding organizational skills Ability to maintain leadership skills through all daily tasks Experience in planning maintenance operations. Must be available to work weekends, evening, and holidays as scheduled. All applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screening, and must have a valid driver's license.
