Job Description

•Signing Bonus Payable to Exceptionally Qualified Candidates •Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Tire & Service Store Assistant Manager / Manager In Training, where you will assist in leading a high-energy Midas automotive service center dedicated to delivering exceptional tire and vehicle maintenance solutions. In this role, you will learn to oversee daily store operations, motivate a skilled team of technicians and sales associates, and ensure outstanding customer service. Your leadership will help drive store performance, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of automotive repair and tire service excellence. Duties:
Support daily store operations including scheduling, inventory awareness, and workflow coordination to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction Assist in leading and developing the team of technicians and service advisors; reinforce company standards and expectations through daily coaching Participate in vehicle inspections and service execution , ensuring quality standards across oil changes, brakes, tires, alignments, and general maintenance Maintain safety standards by reinforcing proper procedures related to lifting, equipment usage, and shop cleanliness Deliver a strong customer experience by supporting the service process—greeting customers, reviewing inspections, and helping communicate recommended services Learn and reinforce training initiatives , including service standards, inspection quality, and customer communication best practices Support sales growth efforts by identifying service opportunities and assisting in presenting recommendations with transparency and integrity Monitor key daily metrics (car count, ARO, labor hours, bay productivity) and partner with the Store Manager to drive improvement
Requirements:
Prior experience in automotive service (advisor, tech, or supervisor level) preferred; management experience is a plus but not required Foundational mechanical knowledge (brakes, tires, alignments, maintenance services); hands-on experience is helpful but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate vehicle needs clearly and professionally Desire to grow into a Store Manager role with increasing responsibility and accountability Willingness to learn leadership, financials, and operational management in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in a shop environment , including standing for extended periods and occasional lifting Organizational skills and attention to detail in supporting inventory, workflow, and safety processes Sales awareness with a focus on identifying customer needs—not pushing unnecessary services This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to lead a thriving automotive store. Pay:
$49,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
