This role involves managing facilities, supervising maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of property quality and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance initiatives, optimize property performance, and contribute to a well-maintained environment that tenants and stakeholders can rely on. Responsibilities Oversee the management of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems within the property. Supervise facilities maintenance teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of repairs and upgrades. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues, utilizing schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage, low voltage systems, and industrial safety standards; enforce safety protocols among staff. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors to meet deadlines and budgets. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system repairs, schematics documentation, and safety inspections. Lead initiatives in manufacturing or industrial environments to optimize equipment performance while minimizing downtime. Monitor HVAC system repair needs and oversee plumbing system maintenance to ensure continuous operation. Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations and industry best practices for facilities management. Requirements Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams or engineering staff in industrial or manufacturing settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience repairing mechanical systems including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical panels (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with schematics is essential. Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial environments; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively. Experience managing facilities using ResMan software for work order tracking and maintenance planning. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of clearly documenting procedures and reports. Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple repair or upgrade projects simultaneously. Leadership qualities with a focus on team supervision, training, and motivating staff toward operational excellence.
