We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, ensure maximum equipment reliability, and support production across CNC machining, Hot and Cold Forging, Thread Rolling, and Centerless Grinding operations. Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all equipment maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs across the facility. This role ensures production uptime, coordinates resources, and provides technical leadership to maintain and improve complex aerospace manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of CNC and forging machinery, strong leadership skills, and proven success in building and sustaining high-performance maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Oversee maintenance of CNC, Hot Forging, Cold Forging, Thread Rolling, and Centerless Grinding machines. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control issues. Ensure all repairs and adjustments meet safety, quality, and operational standards. Leadership & Team Development Manage and mentor the maintenance team, providing training in advanced troubleshooting and repair. Assign daily tasks and set priorities to support production goals. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Planning & Process Improvement Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and equipment histories. Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure critical parts availability. Recommend and implement process or equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability. Support capital projects involving new equipment installation or major upgrades. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA, environmental, and aerospace industry standards. Lead initiatives to improve machine safety and reduce risk of breakdowns or hazards. Support audits and compliance reviews with accurate documentation. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to resolve equipment-related issues. Provide technical input for new equipment purchases and layout planning. Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, maintenance KPIs, and long-term facility planning. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology preferred. 7+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong hands-on expertise with CNC machinery, Hot/Cold Forging equipment, Thread Rolling machines, and Centerless Grinders. Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical systems. Experience developing preventative maintenance programs and managing teams in a high-volume production setting. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred. Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets, and deliver measurable improvements.
