Position Summary Yahav Agritech Consulting is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the preventative maintenance and daily servicing of a growing fleet of heavy construction equipment supporting large-scale farm and infrastructure development projects. This position is focused on maximizing equipment uptime through proactive maintenance, inspections, servicing, and coordination with manufacturer service providers. Major repairs will be performed by authorized dealers and service technicians; however, the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring equipment is properly maintained, issues are identified early, and service needs are addressed before they result in costly downtime or damage. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, articulated dump trucks, motor graders, loaders, rollers, and water trucks, along with strong organizational and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the equipment maintenance team. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure all equipment is properly fueled, serviced, greased, cleaned, and maintained. Monitor and maintain diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), lubricants, hydraulic fluids, coolant levels, and other consumables. Inspect equipment for leaks, excessive wear, damaged components, loose fittings, abnormal noises, warning indicators, and other potential issues. Clean and maintain air filters, cooling systems, radiators, and engine compartments to prevent overheating and premature equipment wear. Maintain detailed maintenance records, service logs, and equipment utilization reports. Coordinate warranty work, scheduled maintenance, and repairs with Komatsu, John Deere, and other authorized service providers. Manage spare parts, filters, lubricants, and maintenance supply inventory. Ensure equipment operators follow proper inspection and equipment care procedures. Monitor equipment condition and recommend preventative actions to minimize downtime and repair costs. Promote a safe and organized maintenance yard and workshop environment. Qualifications Required Experience maintaining or supervising maintenance of heavy construction equipment. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs and equipment inspection procedures. Experience with farm and construction equipment such as Ag tractors, bulldozers, excavators, articulated dump trucks, motor graders, loaders, rollers, water trucks, and similar heavy equipment. Ability to identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues before major failures occur. Experience maintaining service records and coordinating repairs with equipment dealers and service providers. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience with Komatsu, Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, or similar heavy equipment brands. Previous supervisory or fleet management experience. Technical training in heavy equipment, diesel technology, mechanics, or a related field. Experience in construction, earthmoving, mining, or large-scale agricultural development projects. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience. Opportunity to help build and manage a modern heavy equipment fleet. Long-term career growth with a rapidly expanding agricultural and infrastructure development platform. Dynamic work environment supporting large-scale land development and farming operations.
