Job Description
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent knowledge of diesel engines Knowledge of maintaining large mobile mining equipment, including haul trucks. Wheeled loaders, rubber tired and tracked dozers, graders, and all types of mine support equipment. Troubleshooting abilities in hydraulics, pneumatics, low voltage electrical, and automated lubrications systems. Must have good people skills and ability to effectively communicate with superiors and subordinates verbally and in writing. Knowledge of basic computer functions in Excel, Word, MIMS, PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Outlook. Deductive reasoning skills Knowledge of Root Cause Failure Analysis Ability to navigate through complicated and detailed schematics. Sound understanding of MSHA, safety, and environmental regulations as they relate to the area of work. Needs skills in project management, predictive maintenance, equipment repair, and maintenance planning. Must have strong mechanical skills and understanding of welding, fabrication, machining, and rebuilding.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum 5 years' experience.
