Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities in our assisted living community. Your leadership will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses a strong background in maintenance and facilities management. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and reliability across all facilities. Oversee the management of maintenance schedules using TELS to track work orders, assets, and inventory. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other mechanical infrastructure. Supervise the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment. Manage projects related to community upgrades or new installations. Oversee the procurement of parts and services necessary for maintenance operations while managing budgets effectively. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing failure data and implementing corrective actions to enhance overall equipment effectiveness. Skills Proficiency with TELS for work order management and asset tracking. Excellent understanding of facilities management principles including safety standards, building systems, and infrastructure upkeep. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks. Project management capabilities to oversee large-scale upgrades or installations efficiently. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting, documentation, and team coordination.
