This is a hands on position responsible for overseeing and implementing repairs and maintenance tasks such as: 480v equipment troubleshooting/repair, replacing lights and fixtures, facility equipment upgrades and installations, minor electrical problems, evaporative coolers maintenance, general preventative maintenance, etc.… Candidate will need to work independently with little daily supervision to complete assigned tasks and manage regular maintenance needs.
SOME OR ALL EXPERIENCE DESIRED
  • 120v electrical experience, lighting, fixtures, electrical device repair
  • 480v electrical experience, industrial equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Basic plumbing repairs, replacement, fixture installation
  • Welding - Mig repairs and assembly of basic carts and fixturing
  • General Construction including paint, drywall, etc.…
  • Mechanical Controls Troubleshooting
  • Compressed Air Systems
  • Basic Automotive/Forklift diagnostics and repairs
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Full Time / 1st Shift
  • Monday - Friday with infrequent prescheduled weekend work may be required.
  • Manage preventative and reactive maintenance for the facility & equipment.
  • Work directly with management to diagnose, assess & carry out repairs.
  • Oversee facility project planning and implementation.
  • Maintain records of repairs and equipment service.
  • Perform general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, evaporative cooler repair.
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly duties including inspections and audit documentation.
  • Manage & organize and spare parts inventory.
  • Willing to learn new skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to work in indoor/outdoor climates year-round, shop environment can be warm in summer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Performing physical activities that require moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, climbing ladders, handling of materials, and operating machinery such as forklift, scissor lifts and a variety of power tools.
COMPENSATION
$30.00+ per hour Depending on Experience
