CS/SC Superintendent Pavement Preservation Group - 1.0 Tolleson, AZ Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Supervising experience DOT Physical Certification Climbing Full Job Description Crack Seal / Seal Coat Superintendent Summary The Superintendent oversees crack seal and seal coat crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role supports the Division Manager by coordinating daily operations, equipment readiness, and workforce performance while helping projects meet or exceed budget goals. Essential Functions Enforce company and OSHA safety policies; report issues to management as needed Lead daily field operations and follow established procedures and training standards Ensure equipment and vehicles are inspected, maintained, and kept in professional condition Coordinate repairs and communicate equipment needs to the shop Train and mentor crew members on proper practices and job expectations Core Competencies Clear communication and decision‑making Strong safety awareness Results‑driven and detail‑oriented Effective time management Leadership and accountability Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor construction environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and weather extremes Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing Ability to lift up to 90 lbs occasionally Schedule & Travel Full‑time position with varying hours Nights, weekends, and out‑of‑town/state travel as required Qualifications 2+ years of supervisory experience Valid driver's license with Medical DOT card (or ability to obtain) Must pass drug testing This job description outlines primary responsibilities but is not all‑inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
