In this pivotal role, you will oversee the comprehensive refurbishment of vehicles, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for sale or delivery. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes craftsmanship and excellence. Duties Overseeing the reconditioning of a vehicle to get it ready for sale Source & order parts Detail a vehicle (interior and exterior) Working within a budget (determined on a car to car basis) Transport vehicles to and from different locations for reconditioning Conduct initial vehicle inspections upon arrival. Create comprehensive reconditioning estimates for each vehicle. Identify cosmetic, mechanical, safety, and compliance issues. Prioritize repairs based on retail readiness and dealership standards. Review vehicle history reports and previous service records when available. Manage the entire reconditioning process from acquisition to retail-ready status. Develop repair plans and assign work to internal departments or outside vendors. Schedule and monitor mechanical, body, paint, wheel, upholstery, glass, and detailing work. Ensure all repairs are completed to luxury and exotic vehicle standards. Perform final quality control inspections before vehicles are listed for sale. Qualifications Must be able to drive stick shift Must have a clean driving record Must have a valid US driver's license Trustworthy Organized Self-motivated Must be familiar with sourcing automotive parts and ordering automotive parts Must be able to detail a vehicle (interior and exterior) Must have basic knowledge of automotives, automotive parts, and the reconditioning process Must be able to work closely with mechanics, vendors, etc. Must be able to work within a budget Must have experience in the automotive industry, experience with luxury and exotic vehicles is a plus
