Job Overview The Lead Maintenance Technician oversees and performs tasks to ensure proper care and maintenance of all AltaMed physical facilities. The Lead prioritizes staff activities to ensure that work is completed as specified and performs a variety of related tasks. The Lead is responsible for maintaining and operating various hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and inventory. Additionally, the Lead ensures that all work performed meets high-quality standards and complies with applicable federal, state, and local codes, laws, and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements High school diploma required. Minimum of 4 years of facilities maintenance experience required. Substantial knowledge of building maintenance skills and repair procedures, including preventive maintenance (i.e., carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, mechanical, and/or pneumatics) is also required. A valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record, required. Must be eligible to safely operate company vehicles, with no major moving violations within the past (3) years and no more than one (1) point on current DMV record. Compensation $28.74 - $35.93 hourly Compensation Disclaimer Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
