Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving department profitability. Job Summary The Automotive Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service department, ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while delivering excellent customer satisfaction. This role involves managing technicians, coordinating workflow, maintaining profitability, and upholding safety and service standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise service department staff, including technicians and service advisors Schedule and assign repair orders to ensure efficient workflow Monitor service quality and ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer standards Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair timelines, and costs Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related concerns professionally Track department performance, productivity, and profitability Maintain inventory of parts and supplies and coordinate with parts department Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention Qualifications Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with service management software (Reynolds, CDK, etc) Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) What We Offer 401k provided by Empower Health, Dental, and Vision offered after 90 days FSA offered Life Insurance provided for and paid by Cardinale Automotive Group Supportive, team-oriented work environment We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
