The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building operations, ensuring the community remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily building operations and maintenance systems Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and inspection readiness Manage and complete unit turns efficiently Maintain resident rooms and common areas to high standards Lead and supervise maintenance assistants, housekeeping, and laundry teams Develop and manage maintenance schedules and departmental budgets Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and local fire departments Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance programs Maintain organized records and ensure ongoing regulatory complianceQualifications:
Proven experience in building operations and maintenance management Experience in senior living or healthcare environments preferred Strong knowledge of fire safety compliance and inspection processes Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Highly organized with strong scheduling and budgeting abilities Self-motivated, dependable, and solutions-orientedSchedule:
