Full Time Pay:
$28 - $38 per hour (DOE) Family-owned and operated Harvey Auto Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our team. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our 9 facilities in the East Bay and Tracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer service-oriented mindset. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will handle all aspects of negotiating with contractors and shopping for proposals. Customer service is a priority, and attention to detail is a critical skill. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must have 2+ years of facilities and maintenance experience. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance. Familiar with principles of electrical and construction. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office computer applications, such as Word and Excel. Able to operate a forklift and scissor lift, and comfortable with heights. Capable of lifting 75lbs. overhead. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and personal, reliable transportation. Must satisfy all pre-employment screening requirements. Primary Job Responsibilities:
Communicate any delays in completing a work order with the management office. Handle all aspects of negotiating with contractors and shopping for proposals. Troubleshoot repair and maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, A/C, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry as needed. Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards. Fabricate and repair various structures, equipment, and fixtures. Respond to work orders on time and prioritize tasks accordingly. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or hazards. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations. Interface with facility managers, contractors, and vendors for all maintenance and service; perform basic handyman duties, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting/patching, and carpentry repairs. Perform office moves (workstations, partitions, chairs, file cabinets, etc.). Process assigned work orders to completion.
