This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of vehicle repair, maintenance, and customer satisfaction. As a key leader on the shop floor, you will coordinate technicians, manage workflow, and uphold safety and quality standards across all service activities. Your hands-on mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will drive efficiency, foster team development, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance. Perform complex diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on a variety of vehicles, including diesel engines, GM vehicles, and those requiring ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration. Oversee vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, powertrain repairs, welding, and auto body work to meet manufacturer standards. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality control protocols, and dealership policies. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and technical explanations to enhance customer service experience. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanic experience with a focus on powertrain systems, diesel engines, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding automotive electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and auto body repair techniques is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to support client relationships. Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Certification or experience in GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred.
