Shop:

Supervise and assign daily work to technicians, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance.

Keep Equipment Safe & Reliable:

Oversee inspections, emergency repairs, and maintenance of Class 6-8 trucks and other heavy-duty equipment.

Train & Develop:

Provide hands-on guidance, mentoring, and ongoing skills development for your team.

Stay Compliant:

Ensure work meets DOT, CHP, OSHA, and Cal/OSHA standards, maintaining accurate records and safety protocols.

Collaborate Across Teams:

Communicate repair timelines and operational updates to fleet management and operations teams.

Manage Inventory & Supplies:

Maintain parts inventory, track supplies, and coordinate vendor orders. Promote a

What You'll Bring Education:

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in diesel technology or related field preferred.

Experience:

3+ years in heavy-duty truck or equipment maintenance 2+ year in a supervisory or lead technician role Experience with Class 6-8 vehicles preferred

Skills:

Proficiency with maintenance software (e.g., Dossier) and diagnostic tools (Cummins Insite, Allison DOC, Bendix ACom) Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA/Cal-OSHA regulations, and preventive maintenance best practices Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills Microsoft Office proficiency; ADP familiarity a plus Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Class C license required; Class B CDL preferred Physical Requirements Comfortable working in an active shop environment Regularly bend, lift, grip, and move materials and tools Ability to perform repetitive motions and operate diagnostic equipment

Pay & Perks Salary:

$70,000 - $75,000 per year
