What is a Maintenance Manager?

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment and facility systems. This role leads maintenance teams, manages preventative and corrective maintenance programs, and works closely with Production and Engineering to minimize downtime. The position plays a critical role in improving equipment reliability, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring safe plant operations.

What You Can Expect to Do as a
Maintenance Manager:
Lead and manage maintenance teams across the facilityDevelop and oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programsEnsure timely troubleshooting and repair of equipment issuesCoordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtimeManage maintenance budgets, resources, and spare parts inventorySupport installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance processesEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsEstablish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance performanceCollaborate with Engineering, Production, and EHS teams to support plant operationsWhat We Are Looking For in a
Maintenance Manager:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered710+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environmentProven experience leading maintenance teams and managing plant equipmentStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and maintenance practicesExperience with preventative and predictive maintenance programsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage budgets, resources, and multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellenceWhy Join IP Corporation?
