Job Description:
Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Shop Foreman / Maintenance Manager to join their client's team in California. This supervisory role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is ready to oversee maintenance operations and ensure that all shop activities are running smoothly. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage resources, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations within the maintenance shop, ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team. Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts to ensure availability when needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities align with overall company objectives. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce costs. Monitor and report on maintenance metrics and performance, making recommendations for improvements. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as necessary for specialized repairs and services. Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are accurately maintained and updated. Qualifications High School diploma required. Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a maintenance setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus. Required Work Hours The position requires availability to work a flexible schedule, including Monday through Sunday, during the first shift. Benefits The position offers competitive compensation with a maximum pay of $70,000.00 annually. The role involves around 0% travel time, allowing the candidate to focus on onsite responsibilities.
Pay:
