A region can be one state or multiple states. This position Reports to the Equipment Service Director. Requires proven skills in managing technical field service teams in environments that require fast service response, cost-effective equipment repair that is well-documented, and ongoing Preventive Maintenance that is well documented and essential. Must have excellent technical training skills and the ability to work with all levels of management. Must be a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance to all Facility Management Directors that oversee HVAC service personnel in their Regions (assist with hiring, training and motivating technicians, inventory management, and performance assessment) Provide assistance with managing the performance of all Club Studios' HVAC service technicians and independent service vendors. Requires frequent telephone and email contact with Project Managers and contractors and by visiting and inspecting clubs regularly to verify the quality of maintenance and repair work. Meet with club managers to ensure that service needs are being met. (Management by Walking Around) Monitor service operations through use of equipment service management tools such as the Maintenance System database, Site Controls and other reports. Manage the Service Administration Team at Corporate as needed to solve part delivery problems, equipment replacements and other obstacles to timely service. Monitor manpower loading and make recommendations to adjust territory assignments as necessary to optimize efficiency and response time. Assist with technician scheduling as required to meet urgent repair needs. Ensures and verifies that Preventive Maintenance tasks are performed and that PM records are completed and submitted in accordance with Company requirements. Serve as the point person for club management personnel to elevate their concerns about HVAC equipment service issues. Drives prompt problem resolution.
Requirements:
Demonstrated successful HVAC field service management experience covering large territories. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical and electromechanical systems maintenance. Familiarity with remote environmental system controls. Working knowledge of dealing with external vendors and vendor billing management. Solid leadership skills - ability to develop teamwork and motivate technical staff to perform at sustained high levels. A strong positive Team Player attitude willing to help anywhere needed. Broad business understanding and managerial skill. Excellent Administration skills and timely completion of all staff work as assigned. Strong computer skills and understanding of Maintenance Management Data Systems. Clean driving record.
