Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Seasonal Supervisor to lead our team during peak of Almond season operational periods. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations across farm or agricultural settings, overseeing animal care, equipment management, and team coordination. As a Seasonal Supervisor, you will motivate staff, maintain high standards of safety and animal welfare, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your supervisory skills in a lively environment that values hard work, innovation, and teamwork. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and locate causes of trouble. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Monitor production flow to ensure equipment is running efficiently and product quality is maintained. Complete daily reports and documentation as required. Support a clean and organized work environment through regular housekeeping and maintenance checks Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations. Promote and adhere to a safe work environment through knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job. Know and understand IIPP, GMP, Lockout-Tagout, SDS and Hazardous Materials manuals. Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures. Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment for extended periods of time. Performs other related duties as assigned.
