Job Description
Prudential Overall Supply, a leader in uniform and textile rental services for over 90 years, is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader This is a Maintenance Supervisor-level role responsible for leading day-to-day maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, support, and develop a team of maintenance technicians in a production environmentOversee and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment reliabilityTroubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, and automated systemsPrioritize and manage multiple maintenance requests to ensure timely response and minimal downtimeManage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and external vendors/contractorsMaintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance system (CMMS)Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulationsIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiencyOccasionally support off-shift or weekend projects, as neededQualifications3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing, laundry, food processing, or similar environment)2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experienceStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsExperience working with PLC-driven or automated equipment preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsExperience with CMMS systems, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning preferredProficient in the use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand toolsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredApplicable military experience is strongly consideredRelevant Backgrounds May IncludeMaintenance Supervisor or Maintenance LeadIndustrial Maintenance Mechanic (with leadership responsibilities)Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Senior/Lead level)Operating Engineer with industrial production equipment experienceWork EnvironmentFast-paced industrial laundry and production settingExposure to heat, noise, and moving mechanical equipmentCombination of hands-on technical work and team leadershipWhy Work at Prudential Overall Supply?
