This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximizing service profitability, and maintaining efficient workflow within the shop. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, deep automotive service knowledge, and hands-on experience with dealership management systems. Responsibilities Mange and oversee all daily operations of the service department Lead, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving escalations promptly Monitor and improve service department performance, productivity, and profitability Maintain proper workflow, scheduling, and dispatching of repairs orders Oversee loaner vehicle distribution, tracking, and accountability Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and safety regulations Analyze reports, KPI's and Financials to drive continuous improvements Collaborate with parts and sales department to ensure smooth operations Handle service- related customer follow-ups, retention efforts, and appointment scheduling
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Service Manager in automotive dealership ( Mazda experience preferred) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CDK, Stratus, TSD, XTime systems Deep understanding of service department operations, workflow, and financial management Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Customer focused mindset with a commitment to delivering top-tier service experiences Valid Drivers License and clean driving record At Fremont Mazda, we are committed to excellence in both customer service and team development.
