This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing a variety of CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in aerospace manufacturing environments and possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery, preventative maintenance programs, electrical and mechanical systems, and production support. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and related manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues. Diagnose machine failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support manufacturing schedules. Maintain machine accuracy and performance through routine inspections, calibration, and alignment checks. Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability. Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, service providers, and maintenance contractors. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventories. Support machine installations, relocations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects. Assist with facility maintenance as needed, including air compressors, coolant systems, electrical infrastructure, and other production support equipment. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a CNC manufacturing environment. Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools, including Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seiki, or similar controls. Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repair. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. Experience with preventative maintenance planning and execution. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting AS9100 and aerospace manufacturing environments. Knowledge of CMM equipment and manufacturing support systems. Forklift certification and machine rigging experience. Experience managing maintenance projects and outside service vendors. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
