This role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, managing a team of skilled mechanics, and driving preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime, safety, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who can balance team management with technical problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of maintenance mechanics, assigning daily priorities and ensuring timely completion of work Oversee preventative maintenance programs and schedules using CMMS systems Ensure all plant equipment and facility systems are operating safely and efficiently Troubleshoot equipment issues and lead root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures Coordinate emergency repairs and after-hours maintenance needs as required Oversee installation, upgrades, and repairs of industrial equipment Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and manage vendor relationships Enforce safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures and regulatory compliance Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency Requirements 10+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Prior experience leading or supervising maintenance teams Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, welding, and plumbing systems Experience with CMMS platforms (preventative maintenance tracking systems) Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Comfortable responding to after-hours or emergency maintenance situations Journeyman, trades, or technical education background preferred Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Stable, long-term opportunity with an established manufacturer High-impact leadership role with visibility into operations and engineering
