- Stanford Health Care is seeking a senior, strategic leader to run the business, governance, and operational excellence functions behind one of the organization's most critical operational divisions. As Director, Operational Excellence

- i•on•,•you will serve as the administrative and operational integrator within Facilities Services across one or more business units —overseeing core business functions, performance management systems, and corporate business processes while enabling safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across a complex, multisite healthcare system.

- you will integrate business operations across Facilities Services and Facilities Planning & Design, driving performance, efficiency, and enterprise alignment across a complex, multisite healthcare system.

- (FPD) business unit leads the planning, design, and improvement of Stanford Health Care's spaces to advance excellence in care, innovation, and experience.

- The Director - Facilities Administration provides leadership for the administrative operations for Business Units in the Facilities Services division, combining and elevating program elements operations, planning and administration to drive consistent, efficient, and compliant support across Facilities Services.

- What you will do
- + Set vision, priorities, and multi-year administrative roadmaps for the Facilities Services division in alignment with SHC strategies; translate strategic objectives into annual operating plans with clear KPIs and accountabilities + Lead the division's business operations functions, including operating and capital budget development, forecasting, FTE and labor management, financial monitoring, and benefits realization; partner with Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives (BOSI) to track outcomes and recommend corrective actions.

+ Ensure administrative business continuity and emergency preparedness for Facilities Services; participate in incident command and after-action reviews; coordinate improvements across impacted programs. + Manage and develop a team of managers, supervisors, analysts, and coordinators; set goals, conduct performance reviews, and support professional growth; oversee consultants and contingent staff as needed. This position may require on-call availability during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs and respond to emergencies as necessary.- Education Qualifications
- + Job requires a Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Relevant experience in lieu of degree is in addition to the experience requirements for this position. + Master's Degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPA, engineering management) Preferred
- Experience Qualifications
- + Six+ (6+) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience required.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- + Ability to establish strategic direction and translate it into executable plans with measurable outcomes; skilled in portfolio and program management.

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $79.21 - $104.97 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
