The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in supervision of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Maintenance, to assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Supervise the day-today maintenance functions of assigned personnel. Assist in the orientation and training of maintenance personnel. Ensure that an adequate supply of maintenance supplies is maintained to perform daily tasks. Ensure equipment is cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift. Label or tag equipment contaminated with blood or other infectious materials prior to sending for repair or decontamination. Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays, when necessary, as well as in other positions as needed.
