Grounds Maintenance Assistant Manager/Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Landscape Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and the ability to manage a crew while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements:

Must have valid driver's license Must have clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be reliable and punctual Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor or management role Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping or groundskeeping Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditions

Job Description:

Supervise and help manage crew Communicate professionally with customers Conduct toolbox safety meetings with the crew Ensure all crew members follow proper safety procedures and wear required PPE Ensure that all work is completed according to safety standards and company guidelines Training new employees on job specific tasks and company standards Track time and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Diagnosing and perform minor repairs on equipment as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, inventory levels for gardening supplies, and project progress. Operate and help maintain landscaping equipment and tools Perform a variety of landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, planting flowers, laying much, and weeding Perform irrigation repairs and troubleshoot issues Assist the manager with additional tasks as needed. Please note that this position is a field position, candidates should expect to work outdoors and on job sites, position is not an office role.

Pay:

$30.00 - $33.00 per hour
