The Maintenance Supervisor covers as the backup for the Maintenance Manager for absences or vacations. Essential Job Functions Supervise and review the work of mechanics, machinists, electricians, etc. responsible for the machinery and facility maintenance. Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills to include but not limited to: mechanical understanding of machinery including motors, drives, gears, belts, cams etc., machine repair, preventive maintenance, pneumatics and hydraulics and comprehension of diagrams. Proven ability to train, mentor and supervise direct reports. Demonstrated knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, OSHA Standards for manufacturing facilities, good housekeeping and GMPs. Demonstrates effective communication and interaction skills to support team activities and initiatives related to achieving company objectives and goals. Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years' progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 3 years in a maintenance supervisor roll. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
