Job Description
Job Summary We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, passionate, hardworking, and a team player. You are responsible for management and administrative duties associated with the Facilities Department as well as performing scheduled cleaning and maintenance tasks. Coordinate and schedule club repairs, maintenance and other projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Recruit, train and supervise maintenance staff. Schedule employee training on club equipment. Schedule all departmental staff. Develop annual budget for Maintenance wages and coordinate with General Manager on development of annual budget for club capital expenditures, repairs and maintenance, and facility related operating supplies. Monitor financial results versus budget to ensure the club stays within budgeted amounts. Manage projects and task schedules to meet or exceed club standards for cleanliness and for repair and maintenance of facility systems and equipment; prioritize and schedule work to be completed. Handle Member Suggestion Forms and Correction Alert Forms relating to the maintenance department, including responses to members and assignment of tasks for completion. Manage activity/event sheets and supporting staff requirements. Conduct regular facility cleanliness inspections and provide feedback/guidance to maintenance staff on work performed. Perform facility safety inspections and recommend/implement appropriate corrective measures to maintain a safe environment for employees and members. Maintain inventory and order janitorial, maintenance and operating supplies. Maintain relations with facility suppliers and vendors. Perform small repairs and maintenance projects. Work scheduled cleaning and maintenance shifts. Support and enforce all club rules and regulations as a staff team member. Prepare for, attend and participate in weekly meetings with the General Manager, monthly department head meetings, Annual All Staff Meeting, scheduled corporate Maintenance Directors' meetings and any other scheduled meeting. Keep required statistics and records. Serve as Manager on Duty as needed. All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Extensive experience in custodial, pool, HVAC and facilities maintenance. Management experience in a large facility setting. The ability to manage your time effectively. High school diploma or equivalent.Schedule:
