Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Shop Foreman to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will lead production teams, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, mechanical knowledge, and expertise in manufacturing processes, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and safety across the plant. The Shop Foreman will play a critical role in managing production planning, supply chain activities, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to enhance overall operational performance. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the shop floor to meet production targets and quality standards. Lead and motivate production teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, MRP, and other supply chain management tools to plan, schedule, and monitor production workflows. Implement continuous improvement strategies including lean manufacturing, process improvement, and waste reduction initiatives. Oversee quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirements. Manage inventory levels, raw material procurement, and supply chain logistics to support efficient operations. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize equipment performance. Develop and enforce operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines. Prepare reports on production metrics, operational efficiency, and process improvements for senior management. Requirements Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of
SAP, ERP
systems, MRP, and supply chain analytics. Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and operations management. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with quality control standards and practices in a manufacturing setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in production planning and execution. Ability to analyze data related to supply chain management and implement effective solutions. Prior experience with plant management, assembly processes, and overall operations management is highly desirable.
