Role and Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and fabrication for the Stanton & Riverside facilities. In addition, this role will be to collaborate with other Maintenance Managers in utilization of the CMMS system. This role combines hands-on expertise, with leadership and project management, to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of all machinery and equipment. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Coordinate with Plant / Production Managers to schedule and execute maintenance projects, including equipment relocation, layout optimization, and installations. Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies. Oversee the installation of wiring and conduit, for new and existing equipment, including conveyors and programmable controllers. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and ensure proper inventory levels for equipment, parts, and supplies. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery. Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance records on the Llumin database, including inventory tracking and equipment logs. Process and publish maintenance records, compiled from the Llumin database, drawing awareness to equipment that needs attention. Promote a safe and clean working environment by adhering to and enforcing company safety policies. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related maintenance goals and supporting production objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with various machinery and controls. Working knowledge of electrical motor control systems and components. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, with previous leadership experience preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and working in various environments for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or advanced training preferred.PREFERRED SKILLS
Expertise in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices. Experience with project management in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and team leadership abilities. Additional Notes Satisfactory pre-employment physical and drug tests are required.
