Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Plans, schedules, audits and coordinates plant wide implementation and utilization of MPulse- CMMS. Collaborates with plant wide team to ensure production quality and goals are safely achieved through effective planning and inventory management of parts and materials, and equipment preventive maintenance. Utilizes CMMS attributes to build out a fully implemented and dynamic CMMS platform while ensuring the local program's continuity with the Company Wide "One Enterprise" Culture and CMMS design format. Oversees the organization and auditing of the Risk Mitigation and Safety and Health Programs developed and managed in
CMMS. SCHEDULE
Variable and dependent on training needs and scheduling requirements.
MAJOR TASKS
As established by the Regional Maintenance Manager, follows the Company's CMMS management and utilization guidelines. Works closely with Yreka's maintenance and management team to develop the mill's CMMS infrastructure designed to support planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive maintenance work. Through CMMS work orders, audits, and monitoring, supports Production by ensuring maintenance tasks are executed in a timely manner and in conformity with Companywide/One Enterprise templates. Assists in the training of maintenance team members in the robust use of CMMS. Regularly reviews any backlog of maintenance requests/work orders and adjusts priorities and schedules as informed by Maintenance Superintendent. Develops and maintains a full array of on-hand critical parts and supply levels through CMMS inventory tracking. Works closely with purchasing in the maintenance of parts and supplies. Utilizes interface between CMMS and D365 for the eventual use of the automatic requisition generating feature. Provides maintenance cost history through CMMS report selector. Through CMMS work orders, audits, and monitoring, supports Plant wide Safety, Health, and Risk Mitigation Programs. Tracks and audits safety training to ensure its timely execution. Also ensures timely and complete environmental regulatory reporting. Works with Yreka's Safety Committee and Timber Products' Environmental & Safety Director to ensure safety initiatives are captured in the system. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Supports a safe work environment in all activities. Performs other duties related to daily operation that may be required. Responsible for supporting and enforcing company policies and procedures while providing comprehensive auditing of all programs.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial production and/or preventive maintenance experience, preferably in wood products environment required. Possess technical and or institutional equipment knowledge regarding all production centers: preferably with demonstrable machine center and rolling stock qualification. Strong communication skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction. Must have a demonstrated ability to visualize and communicate the execution of work. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with computer equipment and collaborate with team members on CMMS program development. Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions. Must have demonstrated participation in Safety Committee activities inclusive of specialized train the trainer certifications. Must have demonstrated leadership skills at the level of production shift supervision.
