Maintenance Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and leadership abilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and facilities, while also managing a team of maintenance professionals. Duties Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Manage and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Oversee HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues. Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades or new installations. Read and interpret schematics for electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Proficiency in managing HVAC systems and understanding their operational requirements. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software. Solid electrical experience, including working with high voltage systems. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong project management capabilities to oversee multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
