Position Overview:
Rocky Mountain Custom Landscapes (RMCL) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to join our Gypsum, CO team. This role is ideal for a seasoned landscape professional with supervisory experience and a passion for horticulture, team development, and client satisfaction. The Landscape Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the Division Manager by overseeing daily field operations, training crews, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring a safe, productive, and positive work environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership & Training Serve as the primary point of contact for field crews. Lead morning rollouts and daily oversight of crew activities. Train and mentor crews on horticultural practices, equipment use, and SOP compliance. Monitor crew performance and identify training needs through timesheet reviews and field observations. Ensure proper use of uniforms, safety gear, and company equipment. Client Service & Communication Maintain active communication with the Division Manager, clients, and team members. Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality and client satisfaction. Respond promptly to client needs and follow up after service visits. Assist with holiday decorating and seasonal enhancements. Operational Support Assist with scheduling and calendar management (daily, weekly, monthly). Participate in snow operations during winter months, including territory management and snow watch. Support material sourcing, ordering, and inventory tracking. Oversee truck and equipment inspections, maintenance, and sanitation. Administrative Duties Manage Aspire CRM tasks including client data entry, contract creation, and scheduling. Review and process contracts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Collect and code receipts daily for billing and fuel tracking. Support RAMP credit card tracking and transaction management. Maintain records for employee attendance, vacation requests, and equipment inventory. Reporting & Compliance Track fuel usage, dumpster dumping, and pesticide applications. Follow up on Greenius safety training compliance. Maintain and update management and foreman binders for maintenance and snow operations. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance or supervisory roles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficient in problem-solving and adapting to unexpected changes. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service. Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and initiative.
