Were looking for a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead operations across our Steamboat Springs properties (Hilltop & Fold Suites). This is a player-coach role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and takes pride in keeping every system running flawlessly, no matter the season. What Youll OwnLead day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations across two resort propertiesOversee and execute preventive maintenance programs to protect asset value and guest experienceManage all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operationsAct as a working leaderpartnering directly with your team on repairs and projectsPrepare for and manage seasonal demands (snow, peak occupancy, weather-related wear)Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality workSupport Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities as neededManage budgets, inventory, and purchase orders with operational disciplineLead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance teamEnsure safety, compliance, and emergency readiness across all properties What Makes You a Great Fit37 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or engineering roles (hospitality preferred)At least 1 year of team leadership experienceStrong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systemsCPO certification required (or ability to obtain quickly)Experience working in seasonal or mountain environments is a strong plusA true player-coach mindsetyou lead by doingOrganized, proactive, and calm under pressureStrong communication skills and a collaborative approachA commitment to sustainability, safety, and inclusive leadershipFlexible and dependableready for weekends, weather, and real-time problem solving Why This Role Stands OutLead across multiple properties with real ownership and impactWork in Steamboat Springsa destination lifestyle with year-round adventureBe part of a team that values quality, speed, and guest experience equallyOpportunity to grow into regional facilities leadership as we scale
